What is Ecofoam?
Ecofoam is created using foam offcuts generated during the manufacturing process.
Rather than allowing these materials to go to waste, suitable foam offcuts are collected and re-engineered into a resilient new material that can be incorporated back into mattress production.
The result is a durable foam that can be used within structural and supportive areas of a mattress, helping to make more efficient use of existing resources while maintaining the performance required from the finished product.
Supporting a more circular manufacturing process
Traditional manufacturing often follows a linear model, where raw materials are produced, used and eventually discarded.
Ecofoam offers a more circular alternative by keeping existing foam materials in use for longer.
Manufacturing offcuts are recovered, processed and transformed into a new material that can be returned to production rather than becoming unnecessary waste.

Using re-engineered material doesn’t mean compromising on performance. Ecofoam undergoes a dedicated re-engineering process to create a consistent, resilient material suitable for mattress construction.

This allows manufacturers to reduce reliance on newly produced foam in certain areas of a product while continuing to meet the performance requirements of the mattress.
